We are committed to supporting veterans and want them to be able to find a fulfilling workplace where they can enrich our culture and contribute to the “Power of Sunbelt.” The Sunbelt Rentals Veterans Program was purpose-built to assist with challenges faced by our multinational veteran population and is focused on the four pillars of – resources, recruitment, recognition, and retention.

RESOURCES
We aim to provide tailored resources to our veteran team members related to accommodation support, Veterans Affairs guidance, deployment initiatives, and more. A dedicated internal veteran resources hotline offers efficient and timely responses to requests and beyond.
RECRUITMENT
It is Sunbelt Rentals goal to deliver on a promise to offer a rental experience that’s defined by availability, reliability, and ease. Veterans understand the importance of reliability better than most and take our promise to heart. Sunbelt Rentals actively recruits members of the armed forces through job fairs, strategic partnerships, and programs such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hiring Our Heroes program. In roles where they can embrace the strengths that served them in the military, veterans can take pride in their civilian careers as we grow together.
RECOGNITION
At Sunbelt Rentals, we are proud of our veteran team members and provide opportunities throughout the company for active duty and veterans to showcase their service pride. We have also created ways to acknowledge their sacrifice and show our appreciation, one example being the Sunbelt Salute Coin. The Sunbelt Salute is embodied in a coin that is awarded on behalf of our grateful team members as a token of our appreciation for their contributions to the Armed Forces.
RETENTION
From the beginning, we want to ensure veteran team members are placed within roles that align to the set of skills mastered during their time in military career fields. By providing focused and vital support during the first 90 days of employment, we aim to make the transition out of uniform to the private sector with little stress. Our veteran ambassadors, trusted and locally known, are found across the organization and will serve as added support and influence.
