We are SMART! The Sheet Metal, Air, Rail & Transportation Union proudly serves over 200,000 members across the United States and Canada. Local #177 is a Building Trades local with over 900 members in the Middle-Tennessee area. We proudly serve 26 contractors in our area, including major projects in Clarksville, Gallatin, Nashville and Spring Hill, TN.
We offer an Apprenticeship Program that assists those new to the trade with learning the skills required to enjoy a long-lasting career with great pay and amazing benefits. After completing ou program, you will have the option of remaining in the Middle-Tennessee area
