ELECTRONICS ENGINEER VH-92 Senior Engineer

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the on the VH-92 FST of FLTREADCEN EAST.


  • You will investigate, research and determine applicability of major modifications for the program; including modification that would extend service life, improve survivability, reliability and maintainability and aircraft safety.
  • You will maintain the budget of FST branch assigned regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization and capabilities development for multiyear projections.
  • You will monitor performance of engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses and supports services.
  • You will be the liaison within aviation technical and industrial communities for in-service issues, support to other military services, foreign military services and customers as appropriate.
  • You will analyze/recommend adjustments to specific service life intervals for aircraft/weapons and equipment.

Requirements

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 2) Expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Engineering; 2) Developing program sustainment and acquisition engineering support; 3) Managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; 4) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make engineering decisions.
