MANAGER

You will serve as a Manager of the Warfare Area Test Leads (C51) or Warfare Area Test Conductors (C52) branch in the Test Engineering & Integration Division (C50) of the Combat Systems Test and Evaluation Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.


  • You will oversee the Test and Evaluation requirements analysis, planning, execution, and reporting of the test events for Combat Weapon and other related systems.
  • You will determine scope and resource requirements for the branch tasking, including test events.
  • You will develop review Test and Evaluation processes and policies; as well as review test plans and procedures.
  • You will formulate approaches and proposals to all program tasks; negotiate and discuss both technical and budget program plans; and review and evaluate all assigned program requirements and functions.
  • You will motivate, train and work effectively with team members possessing a variety of backgrounds and training.

Requirements

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-4 (GS-12/13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer providing technical and project oversight for combat/weapon system test and evaluation while collaborating with partners and developing team members.
