Operations Support Specialist NF-04

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Must have progressive work experience performing the following: Implementing technical safety codes, risk assessments/risk management and safety requirements for a variety of operations Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) DOD Safety and Health standards Fire Prevention, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Health Communication consulting with Occupational Health and Installation Safety Advising supervisors and managers involving accident and fire prevention Implementation of physical and personnel security programs 2. This position requires a SECRET security clearance. Must be able obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. 3. Must be willing and able to complete the FEMA online courses (within six (6) months of employment. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Candidates who have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, OPSEC, Anti­Terrorism (level 1 & 2), Force Protection & JPAS. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager.
