OR Materials Technician

Job Summary and Qualifications
As an O.R. Materials Technician at our facility you will have an important role in patient care and you lead a skilled, compassionate team that focuses on providing excellent customer service and reliable support to one another. In this role:
You will be responsible for assisting with the ordering and receiving of stock, non-stock, consignment, and convenience supplies and equipment.
You will be responsible for storage and the use of information systems related to inventory management.
You will assist with the maintenance of supplies: out-dates, rotating stock, recalls, and supply management within the surgical service departments.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year as a Surgical Tech or Sterilization Tech preferred.
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
Mathematical competencies and attention to detail.
Able to handle multiple priorities.
