Senior .NET Developer

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a contract Senior .NET Developer in Austin, Tx. In this position, you will be responsible for performing highly complex or advanced (senior-level) computer programming work involving analyzing system specifications to develop software for computer applications; developing solution software; documenting the methods and procedures used in software development; and testing, correcting, and revising software. 

Major duties

• Analyze system specifications to develop software for computer applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C# and the .NET framework.
• Develop solution software for both client/server and Azure web-based applications.
• Document software development methods, procedures, and technical processes.
• Test, correct, and revise software to support quality and reliability.
• Apply a security mindset throughout all phases of development.

What are we looking for?

• 5 years of experience developing and maintaining software applications using C#.
• 4 years of experience with .NET and Entity Framework Core.
• 4 years of experience participating in code reviews.
• 4 years of experience working in Agile development environments.
• 4 years of experience using Azure DevOps or similar source control tools.
• 4 years of experience with UI development tools such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• 3 years of experience with enterprise or design architecture.
• 2 years of experience with code-first methodology.
• 2 years of experience with Azure SQL or SQL Server.
• 2 years of experience writing automated unit tests.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Rate: $89.00/hour

• W2 Contract

• Worksite Location: Austin, Tx 78701

• Hybrid (3 days onsite)

• 6 month contract
