SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Naval Education and Training Command of NROTC UNIT TUCSON.


  • You will process documents for stock records such as receipts, stock issues and reorders.
  • You will serve as Key control; Person, maintaining and issuing keys to authorized personnel.
  • You will conduct research for information regarding complex and unusual supply transactions
  • You will validate, certify and generate contract and process student tuition, registration fees and tuition assistance.
  • You will process travel claims, parking fees, tolls, uniform alteration and textbook reimbursements for students.
  • You will screen purchase requests for inappropriate purchases and mandatory sources of supply.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems/programs in accordance with procedures; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; and 4) Practicing the execution of property management procedures and material control.
