Groundskeeping Lead

SUMMARY:

Understands the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and trains groundkeepers in accordance with the PWS and Scope of Work for the assigned contract.  Fulfills contractual requirements by maintaining an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for clients, employees, staff and public; minimizing property damage, loss and liability exposure. Work will be accomplished in a safe and productive manner following all OSHA standards.  Work is generally performed during the day and evening in order to meet Government Contract Specifications.

Education and/or Experience: 

Requires high school diploma/GED or equivalent. One (1) year of grounds maintenance experience and one (1) year of supervisor experience is required. Must be able to drive a vehicle with trailer, and operate grounds equipment. Will be required to spray Insecticides & apply fertilizers.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must possess a valid state driver’s license.  No flags or penalties.  Must possess a working mobile phone and number.

 

Screenings:

A background screening, drug screening, and driving record check will be completed as a condition of employment.
